Ben Vautier (*1935 in Naples) has been a long-standing artistic companion and friend of Daniel Spoerri. After they got to know each other in the early 1960s, they have worked together on joint projects over several years – with a number of thematic overlaps. The constant questioning of rules, habits and claims - including their own - still connects these two great artists.
